MTV has announced the nominees for the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards!

To no one’s surprise, Beyoncé topped everyone scoring a career high of 11 nominations all for her visual album, Lemonade! Adele received 8 nods for her videos for her hits “Hello” and “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” while Drake was behind her with 6 noms, attributed to his hit “Hotline Bling” as well as fire collaboration with Rihanna on “Work!”

Obviously, I want Bey to win all the Moonmen she can get, but there are definitely a lot of great music videos in the running for every category. I would personally love to see Alessia Cara take home a moonman for her vid for “Wild Things,” and Bryson Tiller deserves a Moonman for his work too. Guess we’ll see who wins what when the Video Music Awards air live from  Madison Square Garden on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 9 p.m. ET!

MTV has announced the nominees for the 2016 MTV Movie Awards, which will be hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart, on April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. This year’s show will also mark 25 years that the awards have been airing, so it’s definitely going to be a great show!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens leads the pack with 11 nominations, with Deadpool snagging 8 noms! The nominations include typical categories like Movie of the Year, Best Male and Best Female Performance, etc, but also MTV’s standard, creative categories like Breakthrough Performance, Best Kiss, and Best Fight!  Fans are able to cast their votes for their favorite movies online now through March 20, so get to voting guys!
