Vanessa Hudgens Under Investigation for Reportedly Defacing Sedona Red Rock

Published February 17, 2016 by BrittanyShawnte

Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler have gotten themselves into some serious trouble!

According to Page Six, an Instagram photo surfaced on Vanessa’s page it seems as if the two may have carved their names into a rock in Sedona, Arizona. Sources say that in the photo, the two had their names surrounded by a heart on one of the rocks in the park.

The Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino Forest was notified of the incident on Monday (Feb.15). The forest’s public affairs officer stated, ” The issue of people carving their names and other things in the rocks in the Sedona and surrounding area is always a challenge we face and try to educate people about. We have found that if one person carves something, it encourages others to carve.”
The maximum penalty is a $5,000 fine and/or six months in jail. Carving of any kind into natural beauty of the area is prohibited under Title 36 of CFR 261.9 (a). Investigators are using photos, tips, and witnesses to track down what really happened.

Ne-Yo Reportedly Sues Ex-Manager for $8 Million

Published August 1, 2014 by BrittanyShawnte

Singer Ne-Yo has apparently taken legal action against former manager and friend Kevin Foster for a total of $8 million, according to NY Daily News.

Papers were filed in Manhattan Federal Court, with Ne-Yo (whose legal name is Shaffer Smith) stating that he met Foster back in 2005, and Kevin convinced him to let the accounting firm that Foster was working for at the time handle his “business management and accounting needs.” Foster’s job was to manage the singer’s bank accounts, and “ensure Smith was financially situated as to maintain his accustomed lifestyle for the remainder of his life, protect Smith from financial ruin, and mitigate risk of frivolous spending.”

Foster eventually left to start his own company, and Ne-Yo went along with him, letting Foster handle his business affairs and finances. However, Foster was said to have moved some of Ne-Yo’s money without his permission. Ne-Yo eventually hired another accounting firm, and those there reportedly “uncovered instances of Foster engaging in self-dealing and inappropriate conduct,” which, according to the suit, included forging Ne-Yo’s name on loan documents. Foster also reportedly invested major money from Ne-Yo into a water company that was on the verge of bankruptcy (a company that he was the president and CFO over…but Ne-Yo didn’t know that!). The lawsuit seeks $4.5 million, plus $3.5 million for the fees that Ne-Yo paid Foster over the years.

Not that Ne-Yo is in financial ruin, but that is a LOT of money to have lost due to someone else’s fraudulent behavior. I couldn’t deal with being a celebrity and having somebody else manage all my money. I would have to have meetings every month and keep records of everything on my own as well. There’s not too many people you can trust, especially with your money! Here’s hoping that this is an open-and-shut case for Ne-Yo, and he gets the funds he deserves.

Drake Sued For Allegedly Selling Copied Owl Pendants

Published September 12, 2013 by BrittanyShawnte

More legal trouble for Drake? According to TMZ, a Hollywood jeweler, Michael Raphael (owner of Baden Baden Inc), is suing the rapper for allegedly creation copies of his almost $50,000 owl pendant for Drake’s own crew! The owl pendant is one that Drake rocks a lot.

Raphael claims that his company was hired to make Drake this custom diamond and platinum pendant back in January, which was paid for by Drake for $49,204. Six months later, Raphael saw copied gold designs of the pendants on Drake’s Instagram account (these celebs stay getting in trouble with their social media accounts!).

With the suit, Drake faces copyright infringement as well as having to cough up the copied pendants! Goodness! This isn’t Drake’s first suit surrounding his fashion, though. His stylist sued him just last month for alleged unpaid bills. Drake, if this is indeed true, I need you to cough up the money! You get paid WAY too much to ever stiff folks out of their cash.

In other Drizzy news, he officially dropped his trailer for his third album, Nothing Was The Same, which drops September 24, a month before the rapper’s 27th birthday! Check it out below!

Bow Wow Makes $4000 A Month, Order to Pay Child Support

Published October 2, 2012 by BrittanyShawnte

Seems like Bow Wow‘s new gig at 106 & Park came just in time! According to TMZ, he has been ordered to pay child support for his 1-year-old daughter Shai. However, Bow Wow apparently wasn’t working with much money at Cash Money to begin with!

Bow Wow and baby mama Joie Chavis were in court Monday, with the main fight being over exactly how much Bow Wow is worth and how much he has to pay! Finally, Bow Wow agreed to shell out $3,000 a month in support for baby Shai. However, he told the judge that he makes $4,000 a month working as an employee at Cash Money Records. Yes, that’s allegedly all. He also testified he leases a Jeep and has a grand total of $1,500 in his checking account.

However, since Bow Wow has officially been named one of four new co-hosts for BET’s 106 & Park (which he failed to mention), the judge ordered Bow Wow to pay $11,500 in back child support! And Bow will have to come face to face with a serious payment plan when he comes back to court in December.

When I first heard that Bow Wow was hosting 106 & Park, I was honestly like “Whaaaa??” But now I see. Cash Money is reportedly only paying you $4000 a month, and that’s BEFORE taxes?! (Well, I personally would like to get paid that, but for a rapper signed to one of the biggest labels out right now, that’s not much!). And with $3000 automatically going to your baby’s mother, that’s not much left to work with! I hope BET is paying him good money over there, because he’s going to need it. On the other side, Baby and Lil Wayne, stop playing with that boy’s money!

R. Kelly Owes Almost $5 Million in Back Taxes

Published June 14, 2012 by BrittanyShawnte

image?.CaptionR. Kelly is now a part of the league of celebrities that has been or is in debt to the IRS. Apparently the singer owes more than $4.8 million in taxes dating back to 2005.

A rep for the singer said, “R. Kelly is in the process of working everything out with the government and is confident that all his obligations will be satisfied.”

The breakdown of the alleged non-payments includes: $1,472,366.77 (2005), $710,520.51 (2006), $376,180.11 (2007), $1,122,694.90 (2008), $173,815.18 (2009) and $992,495.24 (2010). The total bill comes to $4,848,072.71.

For some reason, I’m not all that surprised. Hopefully Kells takes care of that and quick. He’s coming out with his new album, Write Me Back, later in the month. So his management needs to get him some appearances and performances. Maybe even a tour. Because Uncle Sam does NOT play about his money!

Amanda Bynes Charged With DUI, Begs President Obama For Help

Published June 6, 2012 by BrittanyShawnte

Amanda BynesAmanda Bynes has been formally charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs following an April 6 run-in with a cop car. It’s been reported that Bynes is also accused of refusing a police officer’s request to complete a chemical test to determine what substances were in her system.

After being charged, she tweeted President Barack Obama to help her out…and to fire the cop who charged her! “Hey @BarackObama… I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me,” she wrote to his Twitter account. “I also don’t hit and run. The end.”

In this incident, Amanda was involved in an alleged hit-and-run in Hollywood. She sideswiped another vehicle while she was trying to pass on the right in her Range Rover SUV. She continued driving after the hit, but apparently cooperated with police when they pulled her over, saying that she didn’t realize she hit the other car.

Amanda…..girl. One, what is it with all of this trouble you’re landing yourself into lately? And two, going to President Obama for help? And through Twitter no less? The President of the United States of America has way more important things to do than to fulfill your revenge plot on some cop. Things like the war, unemployment, his re-election campaign, things of that nature. Get back into acting. PLEASE. You have too much free time lately to me. Idle bodies equal trouble!
