Johnny Depp, one of the hardest working and most notable actors in Hollywood, is set to star in Universal Pictures‘ Invisible Man reboot!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the remake of the 1933 black and white classic that originally starred Claude Rains is being developed by producers Alex Kurtzman and Chris Morgan.The HG Wells novel turned film is about a chemist who uses a dangerous drug to turn invisible and eventually a jealous, paranoid and psychotic who eventually goes on a killing spree!
So far there isn’t any word on how far into development the film is but it’s one of many that Universal has in the works! They also just recently announced Tom Cruise will be the star of the The Mummy reboot.
